# Aaron Mentos

> Aaron Mentos is a steel pannist (steel drum musician), DJ and MC based in South Florida, and a recording artist and producer who writes, performs and produces an original catalog of steel pan instrumental music available for sync licensing. He is a dual citizen of Saint Kitts and Nevis and the United States, grew up performing in his father's reggae and soca band, and has performed professionally for over 20 years. He plays live steel pan, not backing tracks, and commonly covers a full event himself: steel pan through the ceremony and cocktail hour, then DJ and MC for the reception. He operates as Aaron Mentos Music LLC, a licensed and insured Florida company that books under written contract.

## Original music and sync licensing
- Writes, performs and produces an original catalog of steel pan (steel drum) instrumental music, released as Aaron Mentos Music
- Catalog titles include "Too Smooth Steel Pan", "Roots Rock (Steel Pan)" and "Country Man Steel Pan"
- Plays every instrument on the recordings himself: steel pan, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and synthesizers
- Records, mixes and masters the tracks in his own studio
- The steel pan on every recording is an acoustic instrument played by hand, not sampled, not a virtual instrument and not AI generated
- One stop licensing: Aaron Mentos Music LLC owns both the master recording and the publishing on every track, with no co-writers and no splits, so a single agreement clears a track
- Available for licensing in film, television, advertising, documentary and brand projects
- Stems, instrumentals, custom edits and cut downs available on request
- Custom composition written to picture
- Available to collaborate with other recording artists and producers, including features, co-writes, production and steel pan for other artists' records
