PERSONAL BACKGROUND
Aaron Mentos is a full-time musician, DJ, and entrepreneur specializing in music production and event curation. Aaron is a dual citizen of Saint Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean and the United States. He often performs Steel Pan (Steel Drum) during cocktail and dining hours, then transitions into the role of DJ and host later in the evening as the dance floor opens.
As a solo performer, Aaron has opened for acts like Kevin Lyttle (“Turn Me On”) and Inner Circle (“Bad Boys,” “Sweat (A La La La La Long)”). Aaron has performed at many of South Florida’s elite wedding venues and performs both nationally and internationally. He has also played at numerous professional sporting events as both a DJ and Steel Pannist (Steel Drummer).
With over 20 years of experience performing in professional settings, Aaron grew up in his father’s Reggae and Soca band, which opened for and performed alongside acts such as Jimmy Cliff, The Wailers, Jimmy Buffett, Joan Baez, and many more.
